City Councillours Visit Sustainable Studio
04 April, 2005
Brisbane City Councillours Helen Abrahams, Victoria Newton, Felicity Farmer, Catherine Bermingham, Geraldine Knapp and Policy Advisor Alissa Macoun got a real taste for sustainability when they visited the Brookwater Sustainable Design Studio in late March.
Sustainable CEO Brett McKenzie gave them a comprehensive tour of the home, which they found to be a 'valuable learning experience' for their work on the Environment and Sustainability Committee.
Sustainable highly values opportunities to share learning experiences with Government, because we believe collaboration between industry, government and the community is one of the key elements in moving towards a truly sustainable future.
