Force 5 - Construction waste recycling

Force 5 on-site recycling eliminates unnecessary tipping and transport costs. A domestic home building site can generate over 20 cubic metres of construction waste during the construction period that is currently taken to a tip for landfill. This tipping and transport cost alone is estimated to be anywhere between $350 and $750 per site.
Overall, builders pay between $1,200 and $2,000 to have a single storey home site cleaned and between $1,500 and $2,500 for a double storey home. In addition they pay approximately $90 to have plasterboard removed and recycled and $45 per cubic metre for crushed rock to be used on site.
Force 5 on-site recycling generates substantial savings to the builder considering tipping fees are eliminated, less crushed rock is purchased, truck operating expenses are lower and insurance premiums are reduced.
