People often dismiss sustainability as they see it as an added cost. What these people don't take into account is the true cost, both financially and environmentally, of getting water and electricity to their front door. That's where the education process is absolutely imperative."

Councils and Government alike really need to get their acts together and properly manage sustainability through all levels. We need policy change, but we need guidelines and individual focus, not blanket policy. Quite frankly, until we come up with a collective solution to sustainable building, our survival as an environmentally-rich nation is at risk.'
