Site Management
The site provided an interesting challenge as it overlooks the 17th hole of the golf course and falls over 14m from the road to the rear of the block. Creating a very dramatic outlook.
Starting from day one we adopted a strict site management plan. Collecting all of the site spoil and stormwater through control retention ponds, recycling all of the building waste products, and retaining as much existing vegetation on the site as possible.
The only cutting into the block was to allow access to the block from the street and of course, for the foundations. The spoil from the cut was then used to level out the area between the two major pavilions of the home.
